Looking for Strength

This morning has been very difficult for me. Kyara had a decent night last night, she slept 2 out of every 3 hours. So, that was improvement from the night before. Then this morning in rounds, the doctors confirmed a rumor from yesterday's abdominal xray... the pneumatosis is back. She has a little air in her colon wall in her upper left quadrant. They said it is not as bad as before, but don't know if they are catching it early. I am not sure how this is going to affect our trip back home yet. We have a target date of Tuesday or Wednesday of next week, but that depends on how her weekend goes. Please pray for the pneumatosis to clear so that we can get home.

I am posting a couple of pictures. One has the carseat in it. Sadly my battery died before we got Kyara all the way in it, so its not a great shot, but its something. The other is Kassey clowning around. She is so funny!

I am sorry that you are not leaving as soon as planned, but you would not want to leave until you know that she is fully ready to leave. I will be praying for you guys I know that you want to go home. Sending love from our pod to yours, Jessica

We will be praying for you! I know you wanted to be home today, but another one of those bumps seem to have appeared! Keep us posted - hopefully it is just gas?!?!?!
Hang in there - you are amazing.

Love to all,
Michelle and family

PS - I love those braids on Kyara

Genie,

We are so happy to hear of the great strides Kyara is making each day! We will pray for the pneumotosis to clear so that y'all can head south again!

Kyara's carseat looks real comfy and we're hopeful that she'll be able to use it soon!

Love,

Michelle

Nice new background! Kyara had a great night and looks so peaceful, Genie and Gunars. I have a really good feeling about her transfer to Scottish Rite and her progress there. Love, Bunny

Genie,
Our prayers for strength are with you and Kyara. We hope that the doctors can get this last bump worked out so you all can come home. We can't wait to know that you all will be together at last. Keep up the strength you are doing good. Praying and waiting for more good news of transportation home.

Give Kyara a big hug and kiss from me and Mrs. Carlisle. Can't wait to see you all in person.

Love to you all!
Josette and Laurie

PS. Loved the picture of Kassey. She is so cute!
