Kyara's baclofen pump surgery is done. She is back in the room with me and snoozing. This is good, because she did not sleep last night. I guess she was as nervous as I was! We were up together from 2:45 am on. Everything went well with the surgery, so now we have to wait for the recovery to take place and for the doctors to find the right dose of medication. Pray it will go smoothly and quickly!
She's waking up...not a happy camper! :(

I am so glad to hear the surgery went well. Hopefully the pump will ease her off enough that she can more easily do her therapies and get the rest she needs. Please know we are thinking and praying for you all!

Glad to here that she is waking up! Genie, don't second guess - you have not made any wrong decisions about Kyara's care. I am praying the this will have the same results as the trial did! Hang in there. Love and prayers to all.
