Kyara had a gastric transposition surgery to remove her esophagus and pull up her stomach on Monday, November 3, 2008. She went into cardiac arrest during an outpatient procedure on January 21, 2009. Due to the arrest, Kyara suffered a severe anoxic brain injury. Kyara grew her angel wings on March 19, 2010 and is now playing with the angels.

FINALLY SLEEPING

I am so glad Kyara is finally sleeping! I thought she (and you)might sleep if you could hold her. She knows her mommy's arms. I found your page recently and have been trying to find out how to comment and say we are praying for you and your whole family. Kyara has an amazing spirit, if anyone can surprise the world it is her. Hold onto your baby girl and know there are many people out there all praying that the rest brings healing.
